Price list, VAT and opening hours
How to enter prices so the assistant doesn’t mix up VAT or promise extra things.
- In the “Prices and key terms” field write each price on its own line:
Oil change — €26 (labour only, incl. VAT). - For prices, clearly state incl. VAT or excl. VAT. If all prices are the same, one line is enough, for example “All prices include VAT”.
- If a price is “from”, write “from €40” and, if you can, what it depends on.
- Write opening hours by day:
Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00, Sat 9:00–13:00, Sun closed. - Press Save and check in the test chat: “How much is …? Does the price include VAT?”
The assistant doesn’t invent terms that aren’t in the fields — for example using the customer’s own materials, buying in parts or warranties. If it matters, write it down. The assistant doesn’t confirm a specific time or availability; it takes an enquiry and you contact the customer yourself.
